Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
FlowIQ ("we", "us") helps Bay Area small businesses with websites, online booking and ordering, reviews and inventory systems. This policy explains what personal information we collect through flowiq-ai.com and our emails, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: ribesh@flowiq-ai.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us or use a contact form, we get what you choose to share: usually your name, business name, email address, phone number and message.
- Public business information. To find businesses we may be able to help, we use publicly listed business details, such as a business's name, address, phone number, website and public reviews from Google.
- Basic technical data. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies on this site. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and font provider (Google Fonts) receive your IP address and browser details when they deliver the page to you.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule meetings, and provide and support our services.
- To contact businesses about our services by email. Every email includes our mailing address and a way to opt out. Reply "unsubscribe" and we will stop emailing you.
- To keep business records and meet legal obligations.
We use AI tools (Anthropic's Claude) to help draft emails and replies. A person at FlowIQ reviews and approves every email before it is sent. We do not send automated text messages or make automated or prerecorded calls to you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run FlowIQ, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Google Workspace (email)
- GitHub (website hosting)
- Anthropic (AI drafting assistance)
- Formspree (website contact form, if you use it)
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
For our clients' customers
When we run a website, online booking or review requests for a business, we process information about that business's customers (for example, a customer's name, email and booking or order details) on that business's behalf and only to provide the service. The business's own privacy policy applies to that information.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. If you ask us to stop emailing you, we keep your address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email ribesh@flowiq-ai.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
- California residents have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
- You can opt out of our emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe".
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across other websites, so this site responds the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
